# Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai Wet and Dry vs Roborock Saros 20

## Specs head to head

| Spec | Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai Wet and Dry | Roborock Saros 20 |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Max suction | 18,000 Pa | 36,000 Pa |
| Battery life | 200 minutes | 180 minutes |

## Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai Wet and Dry

Our rating: 7.0 out of 10.

Best for: Hard-floor homes where stain removal and mopping come first.

This is the mopping specialist, and it shows in the details. The HD camera and green illumination spot stains you would otherwise miss entirely, then the self-cleaning wet roller scrubs right to the edge while applying only fresh water on each rotation, so it never drags dirty water back over a floor.

Mopping and stain removal are what it does best, and suction adapts up to 18,000 Pa while the roller automatically lifts on carpet to avoid soaking it. The 200-minute battery and dry-dirt storage of up to 100 days in the dock both hold their own against the other two.

Where it falls short is honest: it is a first-generation product in a category where the other two are on later revisions, and it is the narrowest in scope, built around mopping rather than general cleaning. Buy it for the mopping specifically, not as an all-rounder.

## Roborock Saros 20

Our rating: 8.0 out of 10.

Best for: Multi-level, threshold-heavy homes with pets and low furniture.

The Saros 20 is about raw capability, full stop. Its 36,000 Pa motor pulls pet hair out of deep floor gaps that lower-suction robots simply pass over, which is exactly why it is the pick here for pet hair.

The AdaptiLift chassis climbs thresholds up to 3.46 inches without bogging down, and at just over three inches tall it slips under sofas and low furniture most robots cannot reach at all. StarSight navigation maps the space accurately and dodges obstacles rather than blundering into them.

It is the costliest pick here and its 180-minute runtime is the shortest of the three, so it may need a mid-clean recharge in a larger home. For multi-level, threshold-heavy houses with pets, though, it is also the most genuinely capable machine of the group.
