## Insta360 Link 2

Best for: Presenting on your feet, where the camera has to follow you rather than crop you.

The Link 2 does one thing nothing else in this guide can: it moves. The camera sits on a motorised two-axis gimbal, the same kind of mount used on drones, so it physically rotates and tilts to keep you in frame as you walk across a room. A digital crop reaches the edge of its sensor and gives up. This does not.

The imaging matches the Meet 2 on paper, with a 1/2 inch sensor at f/1.8 shooting 4K30 or 1080p60 with HDR, and it adds modes that use the gimbal: whiteboard mode squares up and enhances a board behind you, DeskView tilts down to show your desk surface, and adjustable tracking fences stop it following the wrong person. Gesture control starts and stops tracking without a keyboard. Point the camera down and it powers off, which is a privacy control you can see from across the room.

The caveats follow from the mechanism. Motors are moving parts, and moving parts are the thing that fails on a device you leave clamped to a monitor for years. Tracking sometimes chooses the wrong subject in a room with two people until you set the fences. The good features need the Link Controller software running. And the 79-degree field of view frames one person, so this is a camera for a presenter, not a camera for a meeting room.

## NexiGo N60

Best for: A well-lit room and a plain video call, where the only goal is looking sharp on Zoom.

The N60 exists to stop you looking like a potato on a video call, and in decent light it does that. The 1/2.9 inch sensor delivers clean 1080p at 30fps, and the 110-degree field of view is wide enough to include a second person or a whiteboard behind you rather than framing your face alone.

The unusual part at this price is the software. NexiGo ships digital pan, tilt and zoom controls, so you can crop into the wide sensor and set your framing once rather than repositioning the camera. There is a physical privacy cover on a slider and a standard 1/4 inch tripod thread under the clip, so it mounts to something other than a monitor.

The cuts show up in three places. Low light gets noisy quickly, because a 1/2.9 inch sensor has very little area to gather with, and the auto-exposure hunts when someone walks past a window. Focus is fixed, so it is sharp at typical sitting distance and soft if you lean in to show something to the camera. And the wide lens bends straight lines near the frame edges, which is visible on a bookshelf or a door frame behind you.
