Our take on each
AOC 4K Webcam, Sony Sensor
Best for: Anyone who wants a proper face cam under $50: 1080p60, phase-detect autofocus, a privacy cover.
The AOC 4K Webcam with the Sony sensor is the one AOC webcam worth choosing on the spec rather than the price. The 4K in the name is the sensor; what you use is 1080p at 60 frames, which is the frame rate that makes movement look smooth on a stream or a call. The phase-detect autofocus locks on a face and stays there, where cheaper contrast systems pulse in and out when you lean.
The mic is fine for a call and should not be used for a stream. The privacy cover is a physical slider. It mounts on a monitor clip or a tripod thread.
Owners rate it 4.4 across about 100 reviews, a small sample for a new listing.
AOC Wireless Gaming Headset (PS5 / Switch)
Best for: A console first, with a USB-C dongle a PS5 and a Switch accept.
The AOC Wireless Gaming Headset for PS5 and Switch is the same idea as the PC model with a USB-C dongle, which plugs into a PS5 front port, a Switch dock or a laptop. It runs 2.4 GHz for the console and Bluetooth for a phone.
The sound and the flip mic match the PC model. The review count is lower, about 480, and the score is a little lower with it.
Buy it if the console is the main machine; buy the PC model otherwise. Owners rate it 4.2 across about 480 reviews.
