Privacy policy

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and aggregate: it records the page, the referrer, the country, and coarse device and browser type, with no identifier that follows you between sites or between visits.

One key, ob_utm, in your browser's local storage. It holds the campaign parameters in the address you arrived on, or the name of the answer engine that referred you, and it expires after 24 hours. Its only use is to add a channel label to the retailer link you click next, so we can tell which channel produced a sale. It never leaves your browser except as that label in the outbound link, and it holds nothing about you.

The site sets no advertising cookie and loads no third-party advertising or tracking script.

Buy links carry our affiliate identifier to Amazon and other retailers. Once you follow one, that retailer's privacy policy and cookies apply, not ours. Retailers report sales to us in aggregate, by tracking id. We never receive your name, your address, or what you bought.

The site is hosted on Vercel and its DNS runs through Cloudflare. Both keep standard request logs, which include IP addresses, for their own operation and abuse prevention, under their own policies. We do not run a database and store nothing about a visit ourselves.

The editorial area at /admin is password gated and used by one operator. Its password is never written to a cookie and is not part of anything served to visitors.

Clearing site data in your browser removes the one key described above. Because the site holds no record tied to you, there is nothing further for us to export or delete. If you have a question about this policy, write to hello@omorp.com.
