Affiliate disclosure

Retailer URLs are stored in our catalog without tracking parameters. An affiliate identifier is added when the page renders, so the link you click carries our Amazon tracking id. Every outbound buy link is marked rel="sponsored".

The site also carries code for eBay Partner Network, Impact (Walmart and Target), Awin (Etsy) and Rakuten Advertising (Newegg). Those links are tagged only where the program id is configured. Where it is not, the link goes to the retailer untagged and we earn nothing.

Picks are chosen before commission rates are considered. No brand or retailer pays for placement, for a tier, or for the Editor's Choice mark, and none of them sees a guide before it publishes. We do not accept free or loaned product, because we do not test product. How a pick is made is set out in our methodology.

Star averages shown next to a product are the retailer's own figure, labelled as such, and are never used as our rating or entered into our structured data.

Every price on this site is a snapshot we recorded ourselves, shown with the date we observed it. It is not an offer and it is not live. The retailer's page carries the current price and the terms of sale.
