Editor's note
This is the sweet spot for high-capacity builds wanting more than 32GB. It's the kit to grab once 32GB stops being enough.
Why we picked it
Best for: A video editor, 3D artist or developer on AM5 who runs virtual machines or large projects that already fill 32GB.
64GB in two sticks at DDR5-6000 CL30, so capacity doubles without the stability cost of four DIMMs.
What we like
- + Doubles capacity to 64GB while keeping two sticks and the full 6000 MT/s
- + Same CL30 primary latency as the 32GB kit
- + Single EXPO profile sets speed, timings and voltage
- + Leaves two slots free on four-slot boards
Watch outs
- - About $480 more than the 32GB kit for capacity most games never use
- - Slightly looser secondary timings and 1.40V versus the 32GB kit
- - Tuned for AMD AM5, with no A620 listing in G.Skill's validation
