In practice that means vocals sit forward and clear, the treble carries detail without the peak that makes the ZS10 Pro sting, and there is a sub-bass shelf that adds weight underneath rather than bloating the midbass. It is easy to drive and does not need an amp.

The fit is the real caveat. The nozzle is wider than average, so third-party tips are a fight to seat and smaller ear canals find it uncomfortable after an hour. The shells are unremarkable plastic. And if you are coming from a V-shaped hybrid the bass will read as restrained for the first week, because it is: this is a set that gets the tone right rather than one that impresses immediately.
